OTIS Biotech has developed the ULC (Unitary Locking Cap system) spinal pedicle screw system, cage, and metal elevator system, which are inserted into the bodies of patients with degenerative spinal condition and other spinal diseases during operations. Such products are currently on sale in the Korean market, and they have been used for neurosurgical and orthopedic operations in respected university hospitals and small/medium-sized hospitals. Their product quality has been proven to be better than imported products. Our products obtained the necessary marks for export to European countries, and they have been evaluated to be the best products in Korea as well as deemed to have great potential for export to overseas markets in the future.

OTIS Biotech developed the MultiFitTM Total hip system as the first-ever artificial coxa of Korea in 2004. We announced the development of the MultiFitTM Total hip system and displayed it during the meeting of the Korean Orthopedic Association and Korean Hip Society in April and May 2004; thus contributing to the development of the medical equipment industry of Korea, which has been dependent on imports. OTIS Biotech has completed the development of the MultiFitTM Total hip system, Seal LockTM Acetabular system, and Bipolar system as artificial coxae, all of which are designed based on the figures and lifestyle of Asians including Koreans. We are currently speeding up the commercialization of these products to make inroads into larger markets.

OTIS Biotech is making every effort to develop artificial knee joints and artificial spinal discs. As a company producing all kinds of implants, we shall create higher value-added. Others may consider OTIS Biotech to be a start-up company with many deficiencies. As the only life science company that successfully localized the production of artificial coxae which was thought to be impossible in the past, which requires state-of-the-art medical and engineering technologies and precision technologies, however, we strongly believe that we can make inroads into markets not only in Asia including China but also those in the USA and Europe, the birthplace of implants. We promise to fulfill our goal by overcoming obstacles and making efforts steadily as we did in the past.
